Why does my Toyota Corolla's steering wheel vibrate at high speeds?

I have noticed that when I am driving at higher speeds, my Toyota Corolla's steering wheel starts to vibrate. This happens mostly when I am driving on the highway. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

The steering wheel vibration at high speeds could be caused by an unbalanced tire or misaligned wheels. I would advise you to take your car to a mechanic and have them check the alignment and balance of your tires. This should solve the issue.

Another potential cause for the steering wheel vibration could be worn out suspension components. This is especially common in older cars. I would recommend getting your suspension checked and possibly replaced if necessary. This should also help with the shaking steering wheel.

One thing you can try is rotating your tires and seeing if the vibration changes or goes away entirely. If it does, then it's likely that one or more of your tires are worn or unevenly worn. In that case, you will need to replace the tires to get rid of the vibration.
