I'm planning on taking my new Toyota RAV4 on some off-road adventures but I'm not sure which trim level would be the most capable. I don't want to spend too much extra money if I don't have to, but I also don't want to end up with a car that can't handle the rough terrain. Any advice?
ReplyBased on personal experience, I would recommend going for the Adventure trim. It has a higher ground clearance and better off-road capabilities compared to the other trims. Plus, it comes with features such as all-wheel drive and a Multi-Terrain Select system which can make your off-road adventures easier and more fun.
If you're on a tight budget, you could also consider the XLE trim. While it may not have the same off-road features as the Adventure trim, it still has decent ground clearance and all-wheel drive. Just make sure to invest in some good all-terrain tires for added traction.
I personally went for the highest trim, the Limited, because I wanted all the bells and whistles. It doesn't have the same off-road features as the Adventure trim, but it still managed to tackle some moderate off-road trails without any issues. If you're willing to spend extra for luxury features, this could be a good option.
