What type of oil should I use for my Toyota Yaris?

I recently bought a Toyota Yaris and was wondering which type of oil would be best for it. I don't know much about cars, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

For your Toyota Yaris, it is recommended to use synthetic oil with a viscosity of 0W-20 or 5W-30. This will ensure optimal performance and engine protection. You can find this information in your owner's manual or by consulting with a trusted mechanic.

If you prefer to use conventional oil, make sure it meets the specifications provided by Toyota for your Yaris. These can also be found in your owner's manual. Just remember to change your oil regularly to keep your car running smoothly.

I have been using high mileage oil for my Toyota Yaris and have had great results. It helps protect against wear and tear on older engines and keeps them running smoothly. However, it may not be necessary for newer models.
