I am planning to take my Toyota Hilux out for some off-road adventures and I am wondering which size of tires would be best for that. I have seen some recommendations for larger tires, but will it affect the handling and fuel efficiency of my truck? Thanks.
ReplyFrom my personal experience, I would recommend going for slightly larger tires if you are planning to do a lot of off-roading. It will definitely affect the handling to some extent, but you will get better traction on rough terrains. As for fuel efficiency, it will decrease slightly but not significantly. It's a trade-off, but I think it's worth it for the added capabilities.
I have a Toyota Hilux too and I have tested different sizes of tires for off-roading. I found that slightly larger tires work perfectly fine without compromising too much on handling and fuel efficiency. However, if you are planning to do some serious rock crawling, then you might want to go for even larger tires.
Having a good set of all-terrain tires is crucial for off-roading in a Toyota Hilux. I would suggest going for a size that is slightly larger than the stock tires. This will give you better ground clearance and improved traction on rough terrains. Just make sure to also consider the width and thread pattern of the tires.
