I recently got a Toyota Supra and I'm looking to get some modifications to improve its handling. I want to take it to the track, so I need some advice on which mods would be most beneficial and also some tips on how to set it up for optimal handling.
ReplyFirst of all, I highly recommend getting a good set of performance tires. This will greatly improve your grip and stability while driving. Also, consider upgrading your suspension with coilovers or sway bars to reduce body roll and improve cornering.
Another important factor is weight reduction. Remove anything unnecessary from the car, such as rear seats, spare tire, and sound system. Every pound you can shave off will make a big difference in handling. Also, consider getting a strut tower brace and a front chassis brace to improve rigidity.
In addition to the aforementioned modifications, you may also want to upgrade your brakes with high-performance pads and rotors. This will greatly improve your stopping power and allow you to brake later and harder. And don't forget to properly align your car and regularly check your tire pressure.
