I recently purchased a Toyota Highlander and I am unsure if I should also purchase an extended warranty. Is this a necessary expense or is it just a waste of money?
ReplyIt really depends on your individual situation. If you tend to keep your cars for a long time and put a lot of miles on them, an extended warranty may be a good investment. It can protect you from any unexpected and potentially costly repairs down the line.
On the other hand, if you typically trade in your cars after a few years or don't put a lot of miles on them, an extended warranty may not be necessary. You may end up paying for coverage that you never even use.
