How Often Should I Get My Toyota Camry's Oil Changed?

I just bought a used Toyota Camry and I'm not sure about the recommended oil change intervals. Can anyone give me some advice on how frequently I should change the oil and what type of oil to use?

Congratulations on your new Toyota Camry, Jessica! It's recommended to get your oil changed every 5,000 to 7,500 miles. However, this can vary depending on your driving habits and the type of oil being used. It's always best to consult with your owner's manual for specific recommendations. As for the type of oil, I would recommend using synthetic oil as it provides better engine protection and can go longer between oil changes.

Hi Jessica, I've been a Toyota mechanic for over 10 years and I would recommend you stick to the manufacturer's recommended oil change intervals. This would be every 5,000 miles or every 6 months, whichever comes first. As for the type of oil, it's best to use synthetic or a synthetic blend for better engine performance and longevity.

Hi Jessica, it's always better to err on the side of caution and get your oil changed more frequently than not. I would recommend getting it changed every 3,000 to 5,000 miles. As for the type of oil, it's best to stick with the manufacturer's recommendations. You can find this information in your owner's manual. And don't forget to also check your oil level regularly to ensure your engine is running smoothly.
