Is the Toyota Camry a good car for long-distance road trips?

I'm planning a cross-country road trip and I'm considering renting a Toyota Camry. I've heard good things about its reliability, but I'm not sure if it's comfortable enough for long distances. Can anyone share their experience with using a Toyota Camry for road trips?
