I recently purchased a Toyota GR86 and I am planning on taking it to the track. How much modification do you recommend for optimal track performance without sacrificing daily drivability? Are there specific upgrades that provide the most bang for your buck?
ReplyBased on personal experience, I recommend investing in some performance tires and upgrading the brake pads and fluids for improved braking capabilities. This will greatly enhance your track experience without affecting daily drivability. Also, consider getting a strut tower brace for increased rigidity and improved handling.
I suggest starting with a few basic modifications such as a cold air intake, exhaust system, and suspension upgrades. These will provide noticeable improvements in performance and will not affect daily drivability too much. From there, you can decide if you want to take it further with engine upgrades and a roll cage for track safety.
