Which year model of the Toyota Supra should I buy?

I am interested in buying a Toyota Supra but I am not sure which year model to choose. I've heard the earlier ones have a more iconic design, but does the performance suffer? And what about the newer models, do they have improved features? I would appreciate some guidance on which year model would be the best for my needs.

I would recommend going for a model between 1993-1998. These were the golden years of the Toyota Supra and are known to have the best performance. However, if you are looking for more modern features, the 2020 model is a great option.

I personally own a 1995 Toyota Supra and I couldn't be happier with the performance. The 2JZ engine is a legend. You won't find a better engine in any other year model.
