Which trim level of the Toyota Highlander is the best for off-roading?

I'm planning on taking my new Toyota Highlander on some off-roading adventures. Which trim level should I choose to make sure it can handle rough terrain and still be comfortable for everyday driving?

Based on my personal experience, I highly recommend the Highlander XSE. It has a more advanced all-wheel drive system and improved ground clearance compared to the other trim levels.

I've been off-roading with my Highlander Limited for years and haven't had any issues. Its terrain select system and electronic limited-slip differential work great for off-roading. Plus, it's comfortable for daily use.

If you really want to go all out for off-roading, the Highlander TRD Pro is the way to go. It has upgraded suspension, skid plates, and all-terrain tires. Just keep in mind it's not as plush for everyday driving.
