Which Toyota Corolla trim level is best for my daily commute?

I am interested in purchasing a Toyota Corolla for my daily commute to work. Which trim level would provide the best balance of features and affordability for my needs? Any tips from experienced owners would be greatly appreciated.

I have been driving a Corolla XSE for the past year and it has been fantastic. It has a bit more luxury features compared to the other trim levels and it definitely feels like a higher-end car. But of course, it comes with a higher price tag as well.
