I recently purchased a Toyota Hilux and I'm planning on using it for off-roading. I want to make sure I have the correct tire pressure for optimal performance. What's the best pressure for off-roading in a Hilux? Should it be different than regular driving?
ReplyFor off-roading in a Toyota Hilux, you'll want to lower your tire pressure to around 18-20 PSI. This will give your tires more surface area and improve traction on rocky or uneven terrain. Just make sure to re-inflate them when you're back on the road.
I've found that keeping the tire pressure slightly lower than normal, around 25 PSI, works well for off-roading in a Hilux. It still helps with traction without creating too much drag on the road.
