Which is better for city driving, the Toyota Yaris or the Toyota Corolla?

I'm looking to purchase a new car for city driving and am torn between the Toyota Yaris and the Toyota Corolla. Both seem to have good fuel efficiency and compact size, but I'm not sure which one would be the better choice. Any advice?
