Which engine type is better for efficiency and longevity?

I am considering purchasing a Toyota RAV4, but I'm not sure which engine type would be best in terms of efficiency and longevity. Should I go with the hybrid engine or the gas engine? Any advice or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated.

In my opinion, the hybrid engine is definitely the way to go. It may be a bit pricier up front, but it will save you a lot of money in the long run on gas and maintenance costs. Plus, it's better for the environment.

I have the gas engine in my Toyota RAV4 and so far I haven't had any issues with it. It's been very reliable and I personally prefer the traditional gas engine.

I work for Toyota and I can say that both engine types are equally efficient and reliable. It ultimately comes down to personal preference and budget.

I have had both the hybrid and gas engines in previous Toyota vehicles and I didn't notice much of a difference in terms of efficiency and longevity. I would go with whichever one you feel more comfortable with.

I have the hybrid engine in my Toyota RAV4 and I'm very happy with it. It has great gas mileage and has been very reliable for me.
