Which engine option would be best for off-roading in the Toyota Highlander?

I am looking to take my Toyota Highlander on some off-road adventures, but I'm not sure which engine option would be best for that type of driving. Can anyone offer some insight on the different engines and which one would be most suitable for off-roading?

For off-roading, I would recommend going with the 3.5L V6 engine. It has more torque and power, making it better for navigating rough terrain. Plus, it has the option for Dynamic Torque-Control AWD, which will further enhance your off-roading capabilities.

I've taken my Highlander with the 2.5L 4-cylinder engine on some pretty tough off-road trails and it has handled them just fine. It's also more fuel efficient, so keep that in mind if you'll be using your Highlander as a daily driver as well.

I've noticed that the Highlander Hybrid, while not the most powerful option, is surprisingly capable in off-road situations. The electric motors provide instant torque, making it great for crawling over obstacles.
