Which engine oil is best for my Toyota Yaris?

I just bought a Toyota Yaris and I'm wondering which engine oil I should use for optimal performance and fuel efficiency. I'm not sure if I should go with a synthetic or conventional oil. Any advice?

Hi Maria, congratulations on your new Toyota Yaris! My personal recommendation would be to go with a synthetic engine oil. It may be a bit more expensive, but it offers better protection and performance for your engine. Especially in colder temperatures, synthetic oil flows more freely and reduces start-up wear. Keep up with regular oil changes and your Yaris will run smoothly for years to come.

Hi Maria, I know it can be confusing to decide between synthetic and conventional oil. However, for your Toyota Yaris, I would recommend going with a conventional oil. As long as you use a high quality oil and change it at regular intervals, it will provide sufficient protection for your engine and keep your Yaris running smoothly. Plus, it's more budget-friendly compared to synthetic oil.

Hi Maria, great question! As a mechanic, I have seen both synthetic and conventional oils work well for Toyota Yaris. Ultimately, the most important factor is to use an oil that meets the manufacturer's specifications. I would suggest checking your owner's manual or consulting with a mechanic to determine which type of oil is right for your specific Yaris model.
