When should I change the timing belt on my Toyota Corolla?

I have a 2010 Toyota Corolla and I'm not sure when I should change the timing belt. It has 80,000 miles on it but I'm not sure if that's the recommended mileage. Can anyone give me some advice?

The recommended mileage for changing a timing belt on a Toyota Corolla is typically around 70,000-80,000 miles. If your car is approaching this mileage, it would be a good idea to schedule a timing belt replacement to prevent any potential damage.

I have a 2009 Toyota Corolla and I have had the timing belt changed at 80,000 miles. My mechanic said it was a good idea to change it at that mileage to prevent any potential issues. So far, my car has been running smoothly.

If you're not sure when the timing belt was last changed and your car has over 80,000 miles, it would be wise to get it replaced. It's better to be safe than sorry when it comes to such an important component of your car's engine.
