What size wheels should I get for my Toyota RAV4?

I've been thinking about upgrading the wheels on my Toyota RAV4 to give it a more unique look. I'm not sure what size to choose though, as I don't want to compromise the performance or handling of my car. Can anyone provide some advice on which size wheels would be best for my RAV4?
