What kind of oil should I use for my Toyota Prius?

I recently purchased a Toyota Prius and I'm not sure what type of oil to use for it. I want to make sure I'm using the right one to keep my car running efficiently. Can you recommend a type of oil and how often it should be changed?

You should use synthetic oil for your Toyota Prius. It is specifically designed for hybrid vehicles and can provide better fuel economy and engine protection. It is also recommended to change the oil every 5,000 to 7,500 miles.

I would suggest using a high mileage oil for your Toyota Prius, as it is designed for vehicles with over 75,000 miles. This will help reduce oil consumption and keep your engine running smoothly. As for frequency, it is best to follow the manufacturer's recommendations, typically every 5,000 miles.

Personally, I use conventional oil for my Toyota Prius. It may not be as efficient as synthetic, but it is more affordable and still provides adequate protection for the engine. It is recommended to change it every 3,000 to 5,000 miles.
