What is the best type of tires for off-roading on a Toyota Land Cruiser?

I recently purchased a Toyota Land Cruiser and I plan on taking it off-roading. I want to make sure I have the right type of tires for the job. What should I be looking for in a off-roading tire and which brand/type would you recommend?

For off-roading, you want to look for tires with a larger tread pattern to provide better traction on uneven terrain. I personally recommend the BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A KO2 tires. They have great off-road capabilities while still being manageable for daily driving.
