What is the best type of tire for off-roading in my Toyota Land Cruiser?

I am planning on taking my Toyota Land Cruiser on a off-roading trip and I am wondering what type of tire would be optimal for this type of terrain. I want something that will give me good traction and durability, but also won't break the bank. Any recommendations?

Another important factor to consider is tire pressure. Lowering the tire pressure can improve traction on loose surfaces, but make sure not to go too low or you risk damaging the tires. I recommend experimenting with different pressures before your trip to find the ideal balance for your Toyota Land Cruiser and the terrain you will be encountering.

For off-roading in a Toyota Land Cruiser, I highly recommend getting a set of all-terrain tires. These tires are designed to provide excellent traction on both pavement and off-road terrain. Look for a well-known brand with good reviews such as BF Goodrich or Goodyear. Additionally, make sure to choose a tire size that is suitable for your specific Toyota Land Cruiser model.

I've had great success with mud-terrain tires on my Toyota Land Cruiser. They have aggressive tread patterns that provide excellent grip in muddy and rocky terrain. However, they can be noisy and have a shorter lifespan compared to all-terrain tires. If you're planning on doing a lot of extreme off-roading, these might be a good option for you.
