What is the best towing capacity for a Toyota Land Cruiser?

I am looking for a reliable SUV with great towing capacity. Can anyone recommend the best towing capacity for a Toyota Land Cruiser and if it is suitable for towing a large trailer or boat? Any personal experiences or tips would be greatly appreciated.

I would recommend getting the V8 Land Cruiser as it has a higher towing capacity compared to the V6. I have the V8 and have had no issues towing my 8,000 lb boat.
