What is the best oil to buy for my Toyota Corolla?

I recently purchased a Toyota Corolla and I'm not sure what type of oil to use for regular maintenance. I've heard different opinions from friends and family, but I want to make sure I'm making the best choice for my car. Can someone give me a recommendation on which oil brand and type to use?

Hi Samantha, congratulations on your new Toyota Corolla! As a car enthusiast, I highly recommend using synthetic oil. It may be more expensive, but it offers better protection and performance for your engine. Personally, I've had great experiences with Mobil 1 or Castrol EDGE. Just make sure to follow the recommended oil viscosity for your specific Corolla model.

Hi Samantha, I've been using conventional oil for my Corolla for years without any issues. It's more affordable and still gets the job done. Just make sure to get regular oil changes to keep your engine running smoothly. I usually go to my local mechanic for oil changes, they use a trusted brand like Valvoline.
