What is the best model year for a Toyota Supra?

I am in the market for a Toyota Supra and I am wondering which model year is the best in terms of performance, reliability, and overall value?

The 1993 Toyota Supra is widely considered the best model year for its legendary 2JZ engine and iconic design.

Personally, I think the 1998 model year is the best because it received a more powerful engine and updated exterior styling.

Don't discount the 2020 Toyota Supra, it may not have a Toyota engine but it still packs a punch and has modern features.
