What are the best ways to extend the life of my Toyota Corolla's tires?

I've recently bought a Toyota Corolla and I'm wondering what steps I can take to make sure the tires last as long as possible. I want to avoid unnecessary expenses and ensure my safety while driving. Any tips or advice?

Firstly, make sure to check your tire pressure regularly, as under-inflated or over-inflated tires can wear out faster. Secondly, rotate your tires every 5,000-8,000 miles to distribute the wear evenly. Additionally, avoid sudden and aggressive braking, as it puts unnecessary strain on the tires. Lastly, consider investing in a good quality set of all-season tires, as they tend to have longer tread life.

Another important factor in tire longevity is proper alignment. Even if your tires are properly inflated, misaligned wheels can cause uneven wear and significantly reduce their lifespan. Make sure to have your alignment checked at least once a year, or more often if you feel your car pulling to one side.

Regularly inspect your tires for any signs of wear and tear, such as uneven tread, cracks, or bulges. If you notice any of these issues, it's best to get them replaced as soon as possible to avoid potential accidents. Also, avoid driving over potholes or other road hazards whenever possible, as they can cause significant damage to your tires.
