I recently purchased a Toyota Highlander and want to make sure I keep up with regular maintenance. What are some important things I should be checking and how often should I schedule these maintenance checks?
ReplyAs a general rule, it's recommended to have your Highlander's oil changed every 5,000 miles or every six months, whichever comes first. Along with this, you should also have the engine filter and air filters checked and replaced if necessary.
Make sure to also check the condition of your tires and have them rotated every 5,000-8,000 miles. This will help ensure even wear and extend the life of your tires.
Don't forget about your brakes! Have them inspected every 10,000 miles and replaced as needed. Keeping up with brake maintenance can prevent costly repairs down the road.
