I have a 2018 Toyota Yaris and it has been having trouble starting lately. The engine cranks but it takes a few tries before it actually starts. Is this a common issue with Yaris? Any suggestions on what I can do to fix this?
ReplyIt is not uncommon for Toyota Yaris to have starting issues, especially in colder weather. One thing you could try is checking your battery and connections to make sure they are clean and tight. Another possibility is that your fuel pump may be failing. I would recommend taking it to a trusted mechanic to diagnose the issue and make any necessary repairs.
I had the same issue with my 2017 Yaris and it turned out to be a faulty ignition switch. I would recommend getting that checked out and replaced if needed.
