Should I wait for the new Toyota GR86 to be released or buy the current model?

I am a big fan of the Toyota GR86 and have been waiting eagerly for the new model to be released. However, I am not sure if I should wait for the new release or just go ahead and buy the current model. Can anyone give me some insights on the differences between the two and their thoughts on which one is a better choice?
