Should I purchase the Toyota Highlander or another SUV?

I have been researching SUVs and the Toyota Highlander has caught my eye. I like the spacious interior and fuel efficiency. However, I am also considering other options like the Honda Pilot and Mazda CX-9. Which SUV would you recommend and why?
