Should I purchase a hybrid version of the Toyota Yaris?

I am considering buying a Toyota Yaris and I am wondering if it's worth it to spend the extra money on the hybrid version. I've heard mixed opinions on whether or not the fuel savings justify the higher cost. Can anyone provide some insight on this?

As an owner of a Toyota Yaris Hybrid, I can't recommend it enough. The fuel savings alone make it worth the extra cost, not to mention the positive impact it has on the environment. I say go for it!

I have compared the fuel economy of the hybrid Yaris to the regular version and in my opinion, the difference is not significant enough to justify the higher cost. Stick with the non-hybrid version, you'll save money in the long run.
