Is the Toyota Yaris reliable for daily driving?

I am considering buying a Toyota Yaris for my daily commute. I've heard mixed reviews about its reliability and fuel efficiency. Can someone with personal experience share their thoughts?

In my experience, the Toyota Yaris has been extremely reliable for daily driving. I've had mine for 5 years now and have not encountered any major mechanical issues. As for fuel efficiency, I average around 35 mpg in city driving.
