Is the Toyota RAV4 a reliable car?

I am thinking of purchasing a Toyota RAV4 but I am not sure if it's a reliable car. Can anyone share their experience with this car?

I have had my fair share of problems with my Toyota RAV4. Had to replace the transmission and some other parts within the first year. Not a reliable car in my opinion.
