Is the Toyota RAV4 a good car for families?

I'm considering buying a Toyota RAV4 but I'm not sure if it would be a practical choice for my family. Are there enough room for car seats and strollers? Can I easily fit all our groceries and shopping bags? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
