Is the Toyota Highlander reliable for outdoor adventures?

I am an avid hiker and camper, and I am in the market for a new SUV. I am considering the Toyota Highlander, but I am unsure if it is reliable enough for my outdoor adventures. Can anyone share their experience with using the Highlander for camping, hiking, and other outdoor activities?
