Is the Toyota GR86 a good car for daily driving?

I am considering buying a Toyota GR86 for my daily commute. I also enjoy driving on twisty roads on the weekends. Is the GR86 a practical and fun car to drive on a daily basis? Any potential downsides?

Hey Miles, as someone who owns a GR86 and also uses it as my daily driver, I can definitely say that it's a great car for both daily driving and weekend joyrides. The car's small size and responsive handling make it perfect for city streets and tight corners. However, do keep in mind that it only has two seats, so it may not be the most practical car if you often need to carpool or carry extra cargo.

Hi Miles, I have a friend who owns a GR86 and I've had the chance to drive it a few times. In my opinion, it's definitely a fun car to drive on twisty roads, but it may not be the most comfortable for daily driving. The suspension is quite stiff, so you may feel every bump on your commute. However, if you prioritize driving enjoyment, you may not mind the slightly rough ride.

Hi there Miles, I've been a Toyota fan for years and recently got my hands on a GR86. In terms of daily driving, I think it's a great choice. The fuel economy is decent, it's easy to park, and the GR86's reliability is top-notch. However, since you mentioned wanting to drive on twisty roads, I should mention that the car does have a very light and twitchy steering. This can make it feel a bit unpredictable at times, so make sure you're comfortable with that before making your decision.
