Is the Toyota Corolla a reliable car choice?

I've been thinking about purchasing a Toyota Corolla because of its reputation for being reliable, but I've also heard some conflicting opinions. Can someone with experience owning a Toyota Corolla share their thoughts on the car's reliability?

I've owned a Toyota Corolla for 5 years now and I can say with confidence that it is a highly reliable car. I've had no major mechanical issues and only had to do regular maintenance. Definitely worth the investment.

I wouldn't recommend a Toyota Corolla. I had one for a year and it constantly needed repairs. It was not a reliable car for me.

I've owned 3 Toyota Corollas in my lifetime and all of them have been extremely reliable. As long as you keep up with regular maintenance, you shouldn't have any issues.
