How to Properly Break in a New Toyota GR86?

I just got my hands on a brand new Toyota GR86 and I'm wondering how I should break it in. Should I take it easy for the first few hundred miles or can I push it? Any tips for properly breaking in my new GR86?

It's important to properly break in a new car, especially high-performance ones like the Toyota GR86. My advice would be to follow the manufacturer's recommendations and avoid pushing the car too hard for the first few hundred miles. Gradually increase your speed and change gears frequently to help the engine and transmission settle into their new roles. Also, be sure to follow proper maintenance procedures such as regular oil changes during this time.

I've been a car enthusiast for years and have owned many high-performance cars. In my experience, it's best to push the car a little more than the manufacturer recommends during the first few hundred miles. This will help to loosen up the engine and transmission and prevent them from getting too comfortable in their initial, restrained state. Just be sure to listen to your car and back off if you notice any strange noises or handling issues.

Properly breaking in a new car is crucial for its long-term health and performance. My advice is to avoid driving at a consistent speed for too long during the first few hundred miles. This will help to vary the engine's RPMs and promote proper wear and break-in of internal components. Also, try to avoid using cruise control as it can prevent these variations in RPMs.
