How often should the oil be changed in a Toyota Land Cruiser?

I am considering buying a Toyota Land Cruiser, but I am not sure how often the oil needs to be changed. Can anyone give me some insight on this?

It is recommended to change the oil in a Toyota Land Cruiser every 5,000 miles or every 6 months.

I have been changing the oil in my Toyota Land Cruiser every 10,000 miles and have had no issues. Consult your owner's manual for the manufacturer's recommendation.

I change the oil every 3,000 miles just to be safe. It may cost a little more, but to me it's worth it for the peace of mind.
