How does the Camry Hybrid save on fuel costs?

I've been considering purchasing a Toyota Camry Hybrid, but I'm wondering if it's really worth the extra cost. Can anyone share their experience with its fuel efficiency and how much they've saved on gas compared to a regular Camry?
