Best Tires for the Toyota GR86

I just got a Toyota GR86 and I'm not sure what are the best tires for it. I want something that is performance-oriented but also suitable for everyday use. A friend recommended Michelin Pilot Sport 4S, but I've also heard good things about the Bridgestone Potenza S007. Which one would you recommend and why?

I've been driving a Toyota GR86 for a year now and I've tested out many different tires on it. In my experience, the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S is the best tire for both performance and everyday use. It offers excellent grip and handling on the track, but it also has good tread life and performs well in wet conditions. I highly recommend it.

I work at a performance car dealership and we often see customers coming in with Toyota GR86s asking for tire recommendations. In my opinion, the Bridgestone Potenza S007 is the way to go. It has better performance on dry roads compared to the Michelin, but it sacrifices some wet performance and tread life. If you prioritize performance, go for the Bridgestone.

I've been a mechanic for over 10 years and I've worked on numerous Toyota GR86s. I can confidently say that both the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S and Bridgestone Potenza S007 are great choices for this car. But if you want a more balanced tire that offers good performance and durability, I would suggest the Continental ExtremeContact Sport. It's also a bit more affordable than the other two options.
