Best tires for off-roading in a Toyota Land Cruiser?

I recently purchased a Toyota Land Cruiser and want to take it off-roading. What are the best tires to use for optimal performance and durability in rough terrain? Any recommendations on specific brands or types of tires?

I highly recommend the BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires. They are designed specifically for off-roading and have fantastic traction and durability. I've been using them on my Land Cruiser for years and have never had any issues.

For serious off-roading, I would suggest the Mickey Thompson Baja MTZP3 tires. They have a unique tread design that performs well in mud, snow, and rocky terrain. However, keep in mind that they may not provide as smooth of a ride on paved roads.

If you're looking for something more affordable, the Falken Wildpeak A/T3W tires are a great option. They have a rugged design that can handle off-roading, but also provide a smoother ride on the highway compared to other all-terrain tires.
