Are all-terrain tires necessary for my Toyota Hilux?

I recently bought a Toyota Hilux and I am wondering if I should invest in all-terrain tires. I mostly use my truck for city driving, but I do go on occasional camping trips. Will all-terrain tires make a noticeable difference in my driving experience?
