Is the Toyota GR86 worth the upgrade from the 86?

I have been a fan of the Toyota 86 series for years and have been considering upgrading to the new GR86 model. However, I'm not sure if the upgrades are worth the additional cost. Can someone with experience in both cars provide some insight?
